About the Journal

The Journal of Computational Intelligence and Decision Analytics (CIDA) is a single-blind, peer-reviewed, open access international journal dedicated to publishing high-quality theoretical, methodological, and applied research in computational intelligence, decision analytics, artificial intelligence, and intelligent systems. The journal serves as an international platform for researchers, academicians, practitioners, industry professionals, and policy makers to disseminate innovative scientific contributions that advance intelligent decision-making across diverse disciplines.

CIDA welcomes original research that develops novel computational models, intelligent algorithms, mathematical frameworks, optimization techniques, and data-driven methodologies for solving complex decision problems. The journal encourages interdisciplinary studies integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, computational optimization, decision support systems, multi-criteria decision-making, fuzzy systems, evolutionary computation, simulation, knowledge discovery, data analytics, digital transformation, and intelligent information systems. Contributions addressing real-world applications in engineering, management, healthcare, transportation, logistics, energy, manufacturing, finance, sustainability, smart cities, cybersecurity, and other emerging domains are particularly encouraged.

Published articles should demonstrate scientific rigor and methodological novelty through appropriate analytical, mathematical, computational, experimental, or empirical approaches. Typical methodologies include mathematical modelling, optimization, artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical and predictive analytics, simulation, computational experiments, hybrid intelligent systems, decision support methodologies, and real-world case studies.

General Journal Guidelines for Authors

The Journal of Computational Intelligence and Decision Analytics publishes original research articles, review papers, short communications, methodological papers, application papers, and case studies. Research articles should clearly present the research motivation, a comprehensive review of relevant literature supported by recent references, a well-defined research gap, a clear statement of scientific novelty, rigorous methodological development, appropriate theoretical foundations, comprehensive experimental or computational validation, discussion of results, and well-supported conclusions.

Short communications typically present novel ideas, preliminary findings, or innovative applications in a concise format. Review papers should provide comprehensive and critical analyses of emerging research topics, identify current challenges, summarize recent advances, and propose promising future research directions. While research articles are typically between 8 and 20 pages, review papers may be substantially longer depending on their scope. The journal does not impose strict page limitations, provided that the manuscript maintains scientific quality, clarity, and relevance. Authors are requested to prepare their manuscripts according to the official CIDA template and submission guidelines.

Extended versions of previously published conference papers are considered for publication provided that they contain substantial new scientific contributions beyond the conference version. Editors will evaluate whether sufficient original material has been added to justify journal publication. Such contributions may include new theoretical developments, enhanced methodologies, additional experiments, broader validation studies, improved mathematical analysis, expanded discussions, or significantly enriched application results. Previously published material must be properly cited and clearly distinguished from newly presented contributions.
